City of Clarkston, GA - Livable Centers Initiative (LCI)

Transportation planning for the enhancement of existing centers and corridors consistent with regional development policies. Tasks include assessment of existing conditions of transportation and circulation facilities within the study area; Summarizing prior transportation plans and studies; Recommending improvements to intersections and corridors; Assessment of intersection operational and safety based on crash and traffic counts; Analyzing current and future traffic volume of corridors to recommend road diet, bikeway infrastructure; estimating costs of the improvement projects.
